Make Room on the Shelf
The Cowboys came out on top in the Winter season of the CHL All Sports Trophy standings. They earned 31.5 points over 2nd place Mariemont's 23 and 3rd place Madeira's 22 points. For the year, Wyoming leads Madeira 92.5 to 70.5.

CHL All Sports Trophy Correction
We recently posted about Wyoming's lead in the CHL All Sports Trophy (HERE). Despite having a full 10 fingers to count with, I still made a mathilogical error and overlooked our 5th CHL winning team. Thanks to an eagle-eyed reader for pointing out my oversight.

The Girls Cross Country Team took the title in a race that "featured 6 teams in the top 10 of the Cincinnati Enquirer DII/III Coaches Poll. Our team combined for their strongest performance of the season, scoring 36 and easily outdistancing 2nd-place Madeira's 73. Katie Spray finished second with a career-best time of 20:21, and Whitley Elsass and Terra Forsythe followed close behind in 3rd and 5th. All 3 earned 1st-Team All-CHL honors. Danielle McKee received 2nd-Team All-League for her 8th place performance. Emily Wood (who set a new PR by over 100 seconds!), Lily Parker, and Isabella Renggli all finished in front of the 5th scorer of every other team. 4 Wyoming girls ran under 21 minutes at the CHL Championship for the first time since the league meet moved to Sharon Woods. Also, Katie and Whitley again moved up the individual all-time WHS Top 20 list." Text from the Run Wyoming Blog by Coach Glendenning.

Wyoming Cowboys in Command of CHL All Sports Trophy
As if there was ever any doubt after taking league titles in 4 of 8 Fall sports (Football, Boys Cross County, Boys Soccer, and Volleyball), the Cowboys have a healthy lead in the CHL All-Sports Trophy. The Cowboys are in the top spot with 61 points over 2nd place, Indian Hill's 49.5 and 3rd place, Maderia's 48.5. Last year, after the Fall numbers were in, the Cowboys had only 58 with Indian Hill having 55.

All Sports - All the Time
Wyoming continued it's tradition of winning the CHL All-Sports Trophy again this year. They led every season for a final total of 123 over second place Indian Hill's measly 100.5.

It Was Close
After the Fall season, the Cowboys are in the lead for the CHL All Sports Trophy. With 58 points, they have 3 more points than at this point last year, but the lead the enjoy is also much slimmer. Indian Hill is a very close second at 55 points. This should make for exciting competition this year.

All-Sports - All the Time
The last Athletic Booster meeting of the year was a manicurist's worst nightmare. The more faint-of-heart in attendance were actually wearing mittens to hide the little nubs of what remained of their fingernails after a Spring full of worry. The Cowboys came out of the Winter season with a mere one point lead in the CHL All Sports Trophy. By the time the lights went out on the Spring season, the Cowboys didn't just win the Trophy, they won by a big 10 points over Madeira where the biggest gains were made by both the Boys and Girls Track teams.
It should go without saying that my description of the Booster meeting wasn't true and was used only in a poor attempt at humor. Anyone who knows the Boosters would know they are true believers and would not have even entertained the idea that there was even a slight possibility of NOT winning the trophy. In fact after years of dominance in the contest, there is talk of renaming the award to the Cowboy Cup. Well, that's not really true either.

In the CHL All Sports Trophy, Wyoming hit the podium for third place in the Winter season. Coupled with the commanding lead after the Fall season, the Cowboys are still on top. We lead Madeira by 1 point going into the Spring. Looking at last year's Spring results, the Cowboys seem to be in a good position to take home the trophy again this year.

CHL All Sports Trophy
After the Fall season, Wyoming has sprinted to the lead in the CHL All Sports Trophy. The teams have pulled together for 55 points. Mariemont is in second place with 48 points and Indian Hill and Maderia are tied for third with 47.5 points.

CONGRATULATIONS WYOMING!!!
After entering the Spring 6 points down to Indian Hill in the CHL All-Sports Trophy count (which some said was insurmountable), an incredible weekend of performances helped us come from behind to take a share of the CHL Cup All-Sports Trophy for the 11th consecutive year.
Bill Bretz (Sports Information Director for the CHL) does a great job of outlining the excitement of what occurred this weekend in the e-mail below- not just in the sports involved, but the impact they had on the 2011-2012 CHL Cup…….
As you know, the CHL Cup represents overall performances in all sports over the course of a school year- and the CHL Cup points ending as tight as they did shows the importance of every point and every contest/game.
Congratulations to each of you and your teams for securing another CHL Cup trophy for the Wyoming Cowboys!!!! 12 out of 18 of our sports finished 1st or 2nd in the Conference and the others were not far behind. These results are another example of our student-athletes commitment to multiple sports, the passion the coaches put into preparing the athletes and the great diversity of our school and community.
In addition to the fantastic finishes from the weekend in the e-mail below, here is how our teams finished this year (like I said above, EVERY point mattered):
- CHL Champions: Girls Volleyball, Boys Swimming, Boys Track and Girls Track
- 2nd Place: Football, Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country, Girls Tennis, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Baseball and Boys Tennis

I just wanted you to know before I post the story that Indian Hill & Wyoming tied for the All Sports Trophy. Each school had 109.5 points. I went back and double checked each sport throughout the year and it still was a tie. I looked back at the weekend and saw how the tie was created. Going into Friday evening, Indian Hill was actually in position to win it outright. Terrell Dailey’s spectacular finish in the 4 X 400 relay gave Wyoming the boys’ track & field title.
Then Saturday, the 2-0 win by Wyoming over Mariemont left Wyoming in a three way tie for 2nd. A loss would put them in a tie for 3rd which would be .5 less point. So, what a finish to the league season. So this, to my knowledge, is the first time two teams have tied for the trophy, which I believe Wyoming has won for several straight years. Maybe the two ADs can break the tie! I know [Indian Hill AD] Jill [Bruder] has a track & field background. How about a 100 meter dash between Scott & Jill? I’ll be glad to start the race! All kidding aside, congratulations to the both of you for great sports programs.

Wyoming has won the CHL All-Sports Trophy for the 11th straight year.
This is determined by assigning points by final standings in each sport - the first place school gets nine points, second is seven, third six, and on down to 1 for eighth (assuming all eight schools partipate in that sport).
Wyoming won both the fall and winter seasons and came in second (by 1/2 point) in the spring season. For the year Wyoming had a total of 112.5 points vs. second-place Indian Hill's 99.5. Wyoming was CHL champion in football, volleyball, girls' cross country and boys' and girls' swimming.

CHL All Sports Trophy
Wyoming heads into the spring in good shape to win the Cincinnati Hills League All Sports Trophy. We took a 9.5 point lead over Indian Hill into the winter sports season and increased that by four. Wyoming has won the trophy every year beginning in 2001.

Wyoming wins CHL All Sports Trophy
For the 10th consecutive year, Wyoming has won the CHL All-Sports Trophy. The final margin was 11.5 points over second place Indian Hill. In fact, we were first or tied for first in each of the three seasons, winning fall and winter and tying Indian Hill for first in the spring.
