WHS Spirit Kick-Off Event

The Wyoming High School Athletic Boosters Association is pleased to announce that they will be holding a WHS Spirit Kick-Off Event prior to the Cowboys first home varsity football game on Friday, September 4th.  The event will take place beginning at 5pm, and will go up until the game's kick-off at 7pm vs. Taft at Bob Lewis Stadium.

The pre-game event will be held in the municipal lot off of Springfield Pike, near the tennis courts and right next to the football stadium.  Festivities will include a live band, a spirit wear table, an autograph session with some WHS varsity teams and athletes, and good food for purchase, with proceeds going to the Wyoming Athletic Boosters Association, who supports both middle and high school athletics. We encourage you to bring a salad or side-dish to supplement what will be offered for sale at the grill.  The event is open to all ages and the first 300 attendees will receive a free spirit towel to bring to the game!

Additionally, recognition and prizes will be given at halftime of game for the most spirited team at the kick-off event, judged by group attire and enthusiasm.  So, please mark your calendars and get your creative juices flowing as you round up your “spirit team” and we kick off the season on September 4th!

Spirit Where?  At May Fete of course.

Make sure to stop by the Wyoming Spirit Wear Store at May Fete on Friday.  The shop has reloaded on summer time merchandise such as hats, shorts, tank tops and plenty of tees.  House flags, car flags, car magnets and the official May Fete umbrella are just a few of the many Cowboy items available.

Can’t make it to May Fete? The Wyoming Spirit Wear Store is open Monday-Friday from 9-4.  The shop is located just two miles from downtown.  Call 821-7100 for directions.

Twenty-five percent of each sale goes back to the Wyoming Athletic Boosters and the Wyoming PSA.  2013-2014 has been a great year and we should top our sales from last year.  The result – over $8,000 split between the Boosters and PSA.

Suit Up

Here is an opportunity for all football players to purchase the team wear for the upcoming season. Also parents/fans/faculty can purchase these items. They will be shipped to Coach Hancock around the first week of July in plenty of time for the fall season.

The Wyoming Spirit Wear Store has some exciting new products for the 2013-2014 school year.  Premium stadium chairs, umbrellas, car flags and cowbells sporting the Cowboys logo are some of the new items.  A great new batch of fashion tees and ¼ zip pullovers are ready to cover Cowboys of all shapes and sizes.  We are also excited to announce the Wyoming Spirit Wear Store is now open from 9-4, Monday through Friday located just 2 miles from downtown Wyoming.  Check out the calendar of events as we bring the full Cowboy selection to you. 

The Wyoming Spirit Wear Store is the official spirit wear provider for the Wyoming City School District.  The Wyoming PSA and the Wyoming Athletic Booster club raised over $8,000 in the 2012-2013 school year through spirit wear sales.  We thank you for your support!

The Wyoming Spirit Wear committee was formed by members of the Wyoming PSA and the Wyoming Athletic Booster Club. Its goal is to raise funds through the sales of Wyoming Spirit Wear.

There are 17 dates set for August, September and October that spirit wear will be available for sale at different locations within the district. Show your support for our Cowboys and help support our fund raising efforts. Download the calendar of events here.

Football spirit wear deadline approaching

The football spirit wear sale for all player and parents is approaching the June 7th deadline. No orders can be placed after that time.

Orders will be available July 15th and will be delivered to me at the high school. I will then distribute.
