Rescheduled Cowboy Classic

The rescheduled date for the Cowboy Classic is set.  There's still time to sign-up to sponsor, play, or sponsor, and the there is also still time to sign-up to sponsor.  And while it's on your mind, maybe think about sponsoring a portion too.

No-Penalty Procrastination

The Cowboy Classic Golf Outing was rained out and will be rescheduled.  The rain-out was bad news for more than the obvious reason.  This now gives you (yes, you, the one who meant to sign up but was too distracted by your own awesomeness and let the date slip away) another chance to get signed up for your eventual win.

You know you're going to crush it (or at least in your stories you will have).  It's just about inevitable.  And then after your head swelling comes down to a managable level, it'll be just about time to sign up for the Gene Pitman Benefit for Wyoming Youth Services on Saturday, October 17 from 5-9 p.m. at the Wyoming Civic Center.

Join in honoring the service and legacy of "Mr. Wyoming", Gene Pitman with fun, friends, food, drinks, and activities for the kids!  Wyoming Cowboy memorabilia, including sport videos and photographs, collected by Mr. Pitman over the years will be available for sale.  Admission is free.  All donations and event proceeds will benefit Wyoming Youth Services. This event is presented by the City of Wyoming, the Wyoming Recreation Foundation, and Wyoming Youth Services.

So What Are You Going To Do About It?

I'm not trying to stir up dissension in the neighborhood, but I overheard something I thought you should know about.  At the last basketball game, I was in the stands behind that couple that lives down the street from you.  Your ears must have been burning.  They were talking some serious trash about your golf skills.  They were saying how the only reason you haven't put together your foursome for the event was because you were scared of losing to them.  We all know that isn't true and normally I wouldn't even say anything, but that couple wasn't even cheering for our Cowboys at the game.  Are you going to stand for that?  Aren't you going to do something about it?

Choose Wisely

As a bona fide member of the press, I've seen the advance copy of the Spring chore list.  It's not looking good for you. Grass cutting, tree planting, painting, and that's not even half of it.  You need to get some sort of reprieve on the calendar and quick.  But tread lightly.  You can't just schedule some "me-time" without incurring a generous amount of eye rolling and who needs that.  If only there was a way to get a break from the chores and still look like a hero at home.  Well, as usual, the Athletic Boosters have your back.  Spend the day NOT doing chores and at the same time help to ensure the success of darling little Suzie and adorable little Timmy's Cowboy sports teams.
