Bowling?

Adam Turer and Scott Springer have put together a preview of the Bowling season for Cincinnati.com (check it out HERE).

So, if we're to take Mr.'s Turer and Spinger at their word, Wyoming has a bowling team.  Not that I'm doubting their journalistic integrity, but I'd like a little proof.  If you or someone you love is on this alleged bowling team, the Round Up would love a report (wyoroundup@gmail.com).

Thanks to   XXXXXX XXXXXXX

The media black-out of the Bowling team continues as apparently our municipal security depends on it.  The hard-hitting investigative journalism wing of the Round Up isn't buying it.  What we need is an agent on the inside.  Someone who can smuggle out news about the team and expose them to a little sunshine.  If you are that someone, send an encrypted report through an Estonian server with the heading "You Won a Cruise" to wyoroundup@gmail.com.

Yes Virginia, There is a Bowling Team

I admit it; I was a doubter - but no longer.  We do have a Bowling team and they look like a great group.  I'm sure soon we'll get a report on how their season is going.
Thanks to Michelle Lee for the photos.

The Veil is Lifted

The rumors are true.  There is a Cowboy Bowling team.  They just wrapped up their regular season against Deer Park and are off to Sectionals.  If you or someone you love is on the team, send us a report from the post-season.  Spare us; don't keep us turkeys in the gutter, feeling low because we strike out on getting information about our favorite rollers .

Thanks to Margaret Gallick for the photos and report.

Loose Lips And All That

Did you know Wyoming has a Bowling team?  How about a Boys' Basketball team?  Well it's true.  The only way I found out is by filing a Freedom of Information Act request.  They keep a pretty tight lid on their activities.  What we need is some kind of mole who could penetrate their secret society and submit a report or two.  The job may be dangerous, and you may have to hide out in Russia, but your  Round-Up needs you.  Are you going to answer the call?

Don't BE a Turkey, WRITE About One

My last post about Wyoming athletes in the TCP mentioned the Girls' Bowling team.  We here at the Round-Up have been bowling fans ever since Homer and the Pin Pals won the championship back in 1996. We would love to highlight the accomplishments of our own bowlers who stand out brighter than a head polished in the SHINE-O BALL-O. If you are a Wyoming bowler or love someone who is, send us a quick summary of or the highlights from a match and we will post them for all to see.
