For those who weren't at the Winter Sports Awards last night.
The CHL has an All-Sports Trophy. This is determined by assigning points by final standings in each sport - first place gets you nine points, second is seven, third six, and on down to 1 for eighth (assuming all eight schools partipate in that sport).
The trophy was established in 2000. Here are the winners by year:
2000 - Indian Hill
2001 - Wyoming
2002 - Wyoming
2003 - Wyoming
2004 - Wyoming
2005 - Wyoming
2006 - Wyoming
2007 - Wyoming
2008 - Wyoming
2009 - Wyoming
At the end of the fall season, we held a nine point lead over Indian Hill. The winter teams extended that lead by 2.5 points, giving us an 11.5 point lead going into the spring. Go Cowboys!
