Wyoming Gives Reading a Reason to be Blue
There was much weeping and gnashing of teeth in Reading on Friday night as Wyoming vanquished the Reading Blue Devils 51-0. We are now 2-0 in conference play.
The Wyoming Defense must have wanted to get home early as they only allowed Reading a total of 89 yards of offense. Not to be seen as slackers though, they even scored a few points of their own as Jalen Fox returned one of his two interceptions for a touchdown.

The Wyoming Offense had 380 total yards of offense with Terrell "TD" Dailey rushing for 4 touchdowns.
Of course, these guys help to make all of that possible.
Please know that this (below)...
... didn't have anything to do with the why this fan is green.

Girls Golf Heads to Sectionals (and so should you)
From Coach Ultan Killean
We had a good day at the Mill course yesterday (Friday Sept. 20), a great way to end the regular season. We defeated McNick 207 to 221. Sam Pease shot a season best 40 to be the medalist and everyone contributed to the win. It has been an exceptionally rewarding season from my stand point, I’ve seen all our players improve their game, respecting their competitors and playing with integrity. Yes, and we had some fun along the way.
The girls compete in the Sectional Tournament on Monday at Hamilton Elks. Sounds like a great reason to skip work, uhm, I mean take a personal day.

First WHS CHL Championship Team of the Season
From Coach Rod Crider
This afternoon, the WHS Boys Varsity Golf team posted a 4 stroke victory in the CHL Championship held at Sharon Woods. With the victory, Wyoming earned the outright CHL Championship for this season. Sophomore Stephen Cholvat posted a career best 79 to lead the team. Stephen also finished 3rd overall out of 42 players in the tournament. Sophomore Johnny Hughes posted an 80, while juniors Chris Betagole and Henry Moore rounded out the Cowboys scoring with a pair of 82's. Attached is a picture of the team right after they were crowned champions.
A special thanks to all of the team parents who came out today to walk the course with the team. We had no penalty strokes today, which was clearly a huge difference for the team.
Please join me in congratulating the boys on this huge accomplishment!

Wyoming Women Won Wednesday!
The Wyoming Girls Varsity Soccer team squashed Taylor on Wednesday, Sept. 19th. 2-0 for the team's and Coach Gruber's first BIG WIN!
Carly Varland started the ball rolling... right into the back of the net for their first goal of the night.
Don't you kinda feel sorry for the Taylor player in the background. She doesn't seem to be having nearly as much fun as our girls.
The "0" in "2-0" comes from plays like this.
When the win was inevitable, somehow the Powerade mysteriously disappeared from the bench.
Congratulations to the Team and to Coach Gruber!
Be there for our next win at 7:00PM Monday, September 24th here at home against Seton.
Thanks to Rod Apfelbeck for the great pictures. See the rest of them HERE.
