Softball loses to Deer Park

The softball team lost a seesaw battle against Deer Park last night.

The mini-boxscore wasn't in the paper so I'm doing this from memory, so be kind.

It was 3-0 DP in the fifth, but we came back in the bottom of the inning to tie it at 3 a piece.  They went up 4-3 in the top of the sixth, but we came back in the bottom to tie it at four.  They pushed another across in the seventh, and alas, we weren't able to match it.

Remarkably, this DP runner was called safe.

Next up: at Reading this afternoon at 4:30 PM.
