Squaring Off With Seven Hills

From Coach Miller
Boys’ Lacrosse is back in action tomorrow night at home against two tough Seven Hills squads. The JV look to stay on track as they work toward another win and their road to the JV city championship May 17th at Mariemont HS. JV faceoff at 5:30pm against the Stingers wearing their home whites.

The Varsity squad faces off at 7pm against the (9-1) Stingers who are coming off two big wins against Mariemont and Bellbrook. The Cowboys are eager for the whistle to blow and get this game started.

Hope to see everyone at Wyoming HS 5:30/7pm for two great match-ups.

Let’s Ride!

Down Against Mason, Up Against Alter

Bob Carter keeps us up to speed with the Tennis team.

It was a split decision this past week for the Boys Varsity Tennis team.

The Cowboys lost a close match versus Mason B on Tuesday (4/21) by a score of 2 to 3. However, the team bounced back on Weds (4/22) against Alter (Dayton). The match versus Alter is actually the first round of the state team tournament (interestingly, the first couple of rounds of the team tournament are played during the regular season). The Cowboys decisively beat Alter 5-0!

Next week, the team has three games scheduled, including CHL rival Finneytown.  Stay tuned.
Thanks to Bob Carter for the report and great pictures.

Wyoming's Walker and the West Win the All-Star Game

Walker Lewis played on the West team in the Greater Cincinnati Division II East West All-Star game in St. Bernard on April 10th.  Walker started and played a majority of minutes, showing the Cowboy defense is the real deal even in an All-Star game as the West won 108-92.

Oak Hills Hewn

The JV Tennis team defeated Oak Hills 4-1.  All 3 singles won in straight sets: Adam Behrman, Alex Zhou and Ian Hammersmith, and doubles partners Oliver Varland and Jack Fischer also won. It was a nail biter. They lost the first set but came back to win the second 7-5 and 3rd set tie-breaker 10-6. Quinn Lemarr and Andrew Brink fought hard in their doubles match.
