Takedowns at Taylor
The wrestling team finished 4th at the league tournament on Saturday (2 points behind 3rd place Madeira). Unfortunatley the matmen were without starters Justin Shields and Asa Palmer. Ike Palmer (195) won in overtime in his championship match to earn his second consecutive league championship. Zach VanFossen had some of his own highlights by pinning his opponent from Taylor in 29 seconds and his opponent from Indian Hill in 11 seconds. VanFossen finished 4th in the tournament at 120 pounds. Other placers for the Cowboys were:

Learned 'em a Lesson
They say losing is where important lessons are learned and character is built. The Cowboys were glad to help Seven Hills out in this area on Thursday. January 30th. The Girls' Varsity Basketball team capped of the lesson with the 56-49 win. What an altruistic group we have.
Thanks to Arch Cunningham for these great shots.
