10,000m RunThe fourth championship of the day came in the 10,000m, where freshman Emily Stites (Wyoming, Ohio) continued her remarkable year with her first conference title. Running the race for the first time, Stites demolished the conference record by nearly 90 seconds, running 34:15.49. It was also the Tribe's freshman record, and the fourth-fastest race ever for W&M. Late Charge Too Late

Without a little rain, it's hard to appreciate the sunshine.  DOBO John Brown relayed a report from the Thursday, May 2nd loss to Badin.

Tough 8-5 loss against Badin tonight. With momentum late in the game, we couldn't quite get enough to over the early 6-0 deficit. Up next is a double header against Mariemont and Winton Woods.

The double header is Saturday, May 4th starting at 2:00.

Back and Forth for MS Tennis

Sara Behrman reported this week's Middle School Boys' Tennis action.

Tuesday, Wyoming lost 1-4 against Seven Hills, but George Arenas played a wonderful match at first singles winning 6-2/6-0. Several of our other players had competitive matches, with Adam Behrman at 2nd singles, Kendall Eyman at 3rd singles and doubles teams of Trevor Payne/Drew Moore and Gareth Norris/Oliver Varland.

Wyoming won our match against Summit Country Day 4-1 on Thursday. Adam Behrman won 6-0/6-0 at second singles, third singles was forfeited by Summit, and both doubles teams of Joey Voss/Drew Moore and Trevor Payne/ Quinn Lemarr overcame initial deficits to win their matches by wide margins. We have great momentum going in to our final week of regulation play.

Many thanks to Principal Mike Overbey for attending this match and supporting the boys!

The cowboys only have 3 matches remaining, followed by a year-end doubles tournament.
