Baseball downs Deer Park

The baseball team run-ruled Deer Park yesterday afternoon, winning 10-0 in six.

Max Kadish got the win, striking out eight in the process.  Max also had a double.

Casey Howell went two 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI's.  The paper also says Chalmers went 2-2.  While I can eliminate softball starting shortstop junior Audra Chalmers, I have to choose between senior outfielder Adam and freshman second baseman Parker.  I'm going with seniority and say it was Adam.  By the way, when was the last season that a Wyoming family had three sibling starters?

Next up: a return matchup this afternoon at Deer Park at 4:30.

As previously reported, Athletic Trainer James Muncy has been named the Ohio Athletic Trainers' Association Athletic Trainer of the Year.
Muncy is a very active member of the OATA. He serves on multiple committees within the organization. His education and leadership has been a great asset to the profession, organization, and Athletic Training community. Wyoming Youth Football Registration

Wyoming Youth Football Association  - "Where the tradition starts early"

Registration

It's time for Wyoming Youth Football Association's football and cheerleading program registration event for the upcoming 2012 season.  Registration begins on May 5th from 10 AM - Noon at the Wyoming Recreation Center. Coaches will be on hand to answer any questions parents may have.  WYFA fields teams and squads for young athletes in Kindergarten - 6th Grade.  Teams and squads are filled on a first come first serve basis.  However, cheerleading registration will close on June 30th so uniforms can be ordered in time for the start of the season.  WYFA does provide all football equipment and cheerleading uniforms for their participants.  The regular season runs from July 17th - October 27th.  For more information go to www.wyomingfootball.org.

Football and Cheer Coaches Needed-

WYFA is also looking for coaches for their K/1 football team.  If you are interested in coaching, and/or, will have a player on the K/1 football team, please contact Bryan Richardson at 513-225-4207 or btrichardson@zoomtown.com for more information.  WYFA is also looking for cheerleading coaches, please contact Renee Elliott at 513-490-5710 or arelliott@cinci.rr.com for more information

Congratulations -

With all WYFA football teams reaching their Super Bowls, and 4 winning titles, WYFA is primed for another successful season.

WYFA's first class of players that played in all levels of youth football, and at the middle school, will enter the 9th grade this upcoming season and we are excited to see them on the field next season.
In the last four years the incoming 9th graders have lost only 4 games (none in 5th Grade, 2 in 6th, 1 in 7th, and 1 in the 8th).  They are in the weight room with Coach Hancock getting ready for the next level. WYFA is very proud of you and look forward to seeing you on Friday nights in the very near future.
