Undefeated Ultimate

From Coach White

Wyoming’s Ultimate team, the Jackrabbits, trekked to Lebanon Sunday on a windy, rainy day and put together two impressive victories.

The varsity stretched their undefeated start to 5-0 with a resounding 10-3 win over Beavercreek.  Eight different players threw and/or caught scores, and the team put together its most impressive zone D of the year.  Junior Joe White anchored the back of the zone, and had four scoring throws and three goal catches.  Fellow junior Jaden Shapiro had four scoring tosses, and junior Max Brady and senior Blake Wickstrom each had two goal catches.

The JV racked up an 8-2 win over Lebanon’s JV squad, even while playing short-handed, with just six players.  All six threw and/or caught scores, paced by senior Evan Emanuelson, who had four scoring throws and two goal catches, junior Quinn Wolfer, with two scoring tosses and two goals caught, freshman Elliott Fuller with two scoring throws, and junior Gus Bradley with two goal catches.

Wyoming is back in action next Sunday, April 26, at the Wyoming Rec center; the varsity plays Milford at 3:00 and the JV plays Clark at 4:45.
