The Spoilers

From Coach Fiehrer

Wyoming's Varsity baseball spoiled Indian Hill's Field dedication day by beating the Braves 10 to 2 on Monday.  Wyoming was lead on the mound by Andrew Marty who threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs and striking out 5.  This was Andrews first of hopefully many wins for his Wyoming Basball career.

Offensively the Cowboys were lead by Senior Tucker Marty who was 3-4 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI.  Grady McMichen, Connor Eldredge, Andrew Marty, and Tim Rice were each 2-4 in the victory.  Wyoming brought out the gloves which featured two diving plays at SS by Grady McMichen.  A spectacular catch at first base from Walker Lewis.  EJ Klee added a diving catch in LF later in the game as well.

The Cowboys bounced back after a very rough week last week seeing them go 1-7.  Parker Chalmers has come back to join the team after missing the first half of the year with an injury.  Hopefully brighter days are ahead for the Cowboys.

Tuesday baseball takes on Madeira in the Reds High School Showcase at 5 PM at Crosley Field in Blue Ash.
