Tying in Turpin

The JV squad traveled to Turpin HS Monday night to play the Spartans.  Down 2-3 with two minutes remaining in the game, Ashley Moher scored 2 successive goals giving the Cowboys the lead.  However, in the final second of the game, the Spartans scored the tieing goal on a free position shot.  Other Cowboy goals came from Erin Broderick and Hope Connelly.  A fine team defensive effort held the Spartans to limited shooting opportunities.  Goalie Avery Barzizza recorded 4 saves and 2 interceptions.
