Splitting at Walnut Hills

The Wyoming Girl's HS Lax team traveled to Walnut Hills HS on Friday night.

The JV squad lost 4 to 6 in their contest which saw 10 saves by Goalie Avery Barzizza.  Goals were scored by Ashley Moher (2), Annie Boster (1), and Madelyn Taylor (1).

The Varsity played a scrappy Walnut Hills team and came away with a Cowboy victory winning 13 to 11.  Goalie Claire Mellott recorded 8 saves.  Cowboy scoring was lead by Emily Wadds (3), Maggie Hughes (3), and Reilly Simmons (3) with other goals scored by Haley Stewart (1), Olivia Cunningham (1), Grace Schneider (1), and Marielle Smith (1).
The Cowboy Varsity improves their record to 9 wins and 3 losses.

Next up is conference rival Mariemont on Thursday April 30 at Mariemont.
JV gametime is 5:30, Varsity gametime is 7.
