From Coach Fiehrer,
Wyoming's Varsity Baseball team bounced back after a tough loss to Mariemont on Thursday to get the win on Monday. Joe Rominger once again lead the way on the mount throwing a complete game to earn his third win on the year. Offensively Wyoming was lead by Prajit Goli who went 2-4 with a double and knocked in the game winning run.
Wyoming was down 1 to 0 after the first inning. In the 4th Prajit Goli got things started with a double down the left field line. He advanced to third on a fielders choice. Walker Lewis drew a walk and he stole second. An errant throw lead to Prajit scoring to tie the game. Later in the inning an errant pick off throw lead to Walker Lewis scoring to take a 2 to 1 lead. Mariemont tied it at 2 in the 6th inning. After a 5 pitch, 3 up and 3 down top of the 7th for Mariemont we headed to the bottom of the 7th. After the first two Cowboys made outs, Parker Chalmers walked. He stole second base and advanced to third on a wild pitch. Prajit Goli hit a slow roller towards third base and he beat the throw out to first giving the Cowboys the walk off win.
