As if 5 matches in 5 straight days last week wasn’t enough, the Boys Varsity Tennis played at an invitation-only Jamboree at St. X (Louisville, KY) on Saturday and Sunday (4/18 and 4/19), against some of the top tennis teams in the region. Participating teams included St. X Louisville, Cincinnati Country Day, Centerville, Lexington, Mason, St. X Cincinnati, and others.
The Cowboys got in A TON of tennis this weekend, starting off with each player playing 4 matches (2 doubles and 2 singles) on Saturday, from about 1pm to almost 9pm. Then, due to rain, the team had to show up for their last match at 5:30am on Sunday (yes, 5:30 in the morning!).
A special thanks to Coach Laurie and Bob Bourbon for organizing the event, and the many parent drivers (who also had to drive the team to their 5:30am match time!).
