After Ashley and Tess beat the second seeded team on Thursday at sectionals, they returned to Mason on Saturday for the semi-finals and finals. In the sectional semi-finals, they beat the third seeded team, Elliott-Martin (CHCA), 6-1, 6-4. Then, in the finals, they lost to the first seeded Baxter-Faugno (CHCA), 6-0, 6-2.
They advance to districts Thursday, 10/15, at the Mason ATP complex at 9:30 AM.
Next up: Division II state team tourney round of eight - at Indian Hill on Wednesday, 10/14, at 4:00.
