Girls soccer downs Taylor 7-0 giving Coach Siler her 100th victory!

The girls soccer team defeated Taylor 7-0 last night at Taylor.  The win gives head coach Kellie Siler her 100th win as Wyoming's girls soccer head coach.

The momentous victory led to congratulatory hugs and a brief celebration on the field immediately following the game.

Senior captain Jillian Anderson presented Coach Siler with a box that appeared to contain a cake after the game.  (The Roundup was not offered a piece so it's impossible to know for sure.  Nor did the Roundup receive any hugs.)

Michelle Jolson lead the scoring with four goals.  She was so dominating that the Roundup is pretty sure it heard the referree indicate to Coach Siler that she should remove Michelle lest the score become too lop-sided.  The Enquirer reports that the other goals were scored by Hailee Schlager and Bonnie Grace, which only adds up to six.  As the Roundup missed the first part of the game, we'd be happy to hear who scored the final goal.

Alexa Levick and the defense continued their suffocating ways.  Alexa had four saves on the way to her 11th shutout of the season.

Next up: Final regular season game - home vs. CHL rival Indian Hill next Wednesday (JV at 5, Varsity at 7)
