These were mentioned during the post on the Winter Sports Awards, but I wanted to make sure these didn't get lost in all the other detail.
Nikki McKee was named the CHL girls basketball Player of the Year. On its web site, the CHL lists the league leaders in three offensive and three defensive statistical categories: points per game, assists per game and field goal percentage for offense, and rebounds per game (although this includes offensive and defensive rebounds), blocks per game and steals per game. In the league, Nikki was 1st, 10th, 14th, 11th, 7th and tied for first. That's getting it done at both ends of the court.
Senior Sudy Graham and sophomore Michelle Jolson were named to the 2nd team.
Junior Hailee Schlager was named Honorable Mention.
