Where does Mariemont play its games

One of the things I'd love to happen as a result of the blog is for more folks to get out and support our Wyoming athletes. 

So, if you're like me, and didn't grow up here and know where each team plays its games, I will try to help you by noting when athletic venues are not located at our opponents' high schools.

Mariemont is a case in point.  They have a full page listing their venues here.  I will add the unwieldy label "Athletic Venues not at HS" so you can look them up in the future - go down the green bar on the right until you get to "Labels" - click on a label and it will bring up all posts with that label associated. 

As for today, the Varsity baseball and softball teams both play at Mariemont.  That means, however, that the softball team plays at Stanton Field and the baseball team plays at Fairfax Elementary

Stanton Field (JH Soccer, HS Softball)

From I-71: Take the Fairfax exit. Stay on Red Bank Rd, and go past Madison Rd., past Red Bank Distribution, to US RT 50. Take US RT 50 East. On US Rt 50 (Wooster Pike), go through Fairfax, past Mariemont Square. Stay on Rt 50 past Newton Rd, and turn right at 1st stop light past Newtown Rd, Elm St (UDF On Corner) Go about 1 mile on Elm, past elementary school and field is on left. For parking, turn left on Stanton, left on Myrtle, and park in school lot.

Fairfax Elementary (Var Baseball, JV Baseball)

From I-71: Take the Fairfax exit. Stay on Red Bank Rd, and go past Madison Rd., past Red Bank Distribution, to US RT 50. Take US RT 50 East. Go through the light and turn left just past Frisch’s Mainliner onto Southern Ave. Go three blocks and school is on left. Park in school lot or in swim club lot at the end of the street.
