The boys tennis team opened the season with a 3-2 win at Loveland yesterday.
Wyoming winners were junior captain Mason Bourbon at 1st singles, who won 6-2, 6-2, junior He'bert Sherrod at 3rd singles who won 6-0, 6-1, and the first doubles team of senior captain Jason Diamond and junior Matt Sumner who won 6-4, 4-6, 6-1.
The varsity team is coached by Ted Plattenburg, who is assisted by Tony Gentry and Jeff Sumner.
The rest of varsity team includes junior captain Gustav Plattenburg, seniors Lawrence Gerlach and Robert Gerlach, junior Adam Tucker, sophomores Alex Mangas and Luke Prather, and freshmen Harrison Belew and Trevor Hackett.
The JV team includes sophomore Alex Pavelka and Brandon Weiss, and freshmen Carl Anderson, Chris Colloton, Sam Harkavy, Owen Heldman, Same Raptis, Gabe Rusk and Karsen Shoger.
Next up: home opener this afternoon vs. Sycamore at 4.
