The Wyoming boys tennis team beat Clermont Northeastern 5-0 in the first match of the state team tournament yesterday afternoon at Colonial.
Mason Bourbon d. Kirby 6-0, 6-0, Gustav Plattenburg d. Corwell 6-0, 6-0, He'bert Sherrod d. Schultz 6-0, 6-0, Jason Diamond and Matthew Sumner d. Werner-Tellep 6-0, 6-0, and Adam Tucker and Harrison Belew d. Bixler-Brown 6-1, 6-0.
On Thursday at CHCA, Wyoming lost 3-2. Winners for the Cowboys were Mason Bourbon, who won 6-2, 6-0, and Gustav Plattendurg who won 6-1, 4-6, 10-6.
Next up: vs. Mariemont at Mariemont Tennis Club on Tuesday the 20th at 4.
