Katie Horn had a double, a home run and four RBI to lead the softball team past Finneytown by a score of 17-2 yesterday.
Joining her in the offensive fireworks were Abby Zennie, 3-4 with 3 RBI, and Rachel Rodrigue, who was 3-5.
Gabby Potvin picked up the W, raising her record to 5-3, while striking out 10. Gabby, just a freshman, is among the leading pitchers in the CHL. She is fourth in ERA at 1.81, fifth in wins with five, and fourth in strikeouts with 55.
The team is now 8-5 (5-2).
Next up: home vs. Finneytown on Wednesday at 4:30.
