Bailey DeBlasis and Abby Zennie each pounded out two doubles and three hits to propel the softball team past Deer Park yesterday. It took nine innings but the Cowboys came away with the 5-3 win.
Gabby Potvin improved her record to 4-1 while striking out 7 Deer Park hitters.
Also stepping up at the plate were Lillian Krekeler with 2 RBI and Caroline Anderson who was 2-3. The victory brings the team to 6-3 (3-2).
Next up: home today against Deer Park at 4:30.
