Stites sets new school 3200 meters record

You know how you've seen athletes whose records are about to be broken, and they say that they're happy for it to happen, and you always think, "Come on. No you're not."

Well, here is an example where an athlete really is happy to have her record broken.

Emily Stites broke the school's girls' 3200 meter record Tuesday at the Springboro Quad meet.  She ran an 11:46.6, crushing the previous record of 12:00.1.

Who is the magnanimous athlete whose record, set just last year at the District Meet, was broken today?  None other than, Emily Stites.
