The softball team lost 3-2 to Batavia yesterday. Batavia is ranked 6th in the current Enquirer's Coaches' poll.
Abby Zennie had another strong day at the plate, going 2-4 with 2 RBI. Unfortunately, that actually LOWERED Abby's batting average. That's the problem when you're hitting .540. (I sent a note to the guy who runs the CHL web site about having a minimum AB number. The girl shown ahead of Abby on the league web site batting .667 has three at bats. Abby has 50.)
