Some excerpts from Coach Edmond's comments:

Nikki McKee – wow what a year this young woman had. This was Nikki’s break out season. She lead our league in scoring and steals. She developed an outside shot and continued to shut people down on the defensive end. Nikki is a great talent. She has developed into one of the best players in the state of Ohio. With continued work she will be one of the best to ever come out of WHS. She will break 1000 points next year and be one of the all time steal leaders at WHS. During games this year she always drew the other teams best defender, sometimes they put 2 people on her but she still got the job done. She has matured both physically and mentally and has become an all-around player.
Christine Tzeghi – this is Teeny’s second year as our team manager. She continues to do a great job for us. She is in charge of laundry and helping out with things at practice. She has become an essential part of our program.
Jenni Marck – Jenni was our first guard off the bench this season. Jenni is a really good defender. She often was asked to defend the other teams best guard and she always did a great job. She has good feet and quick hands and was able help us a lot on our press. She was able to get lots of defensive touches which caused steals and turnovers. Jenni also has a nice outside shot and when she steps into her shot she is really able to knock it down. Jenni was a good senior leader for us this year.
Alexa Levick- boy did we miss Alexa this year. We knew going in that we were taking about 18 points a game out. But that was not the hardest part of Alexa to replace. Alexa is a natural leader. She leads by example. She was always the first one to dive on the floor for a loose ball, she was a great rebounder, she just has a presence about her that is impossible to duplicate. We missed her so much. I admire Alexa’s dedication to our team. Even though she knew she was not going to play a single game this season she came to every practice and game. She was there every day like a true unselfish leader is. She gave more of herself this season than I thought possible. She was our leader on the sideline.
Jane Streeter- Jane has had a great career at Wyoming High School. Jane has been a steady and consistent player for our basketball program for the last 4 years. Jane always defends the other teams best post player. She typically shuts them down. She is a good defensive rebounder and this year added offensive scorer to her game. She hit some very timely shots this year which helped us big time. Because Jane picked it up on the offensive end of the floor she made our team more difficult to defend. Jane also was a great leader for us on the floor this year. She showed her teammates what it means to play hard and to give 110% all the time. Jane is really going to be hard to replace next year. She has helped our team to be a top 10 team in the city consistently for the last 3 years and her presence on the floor is going to be missed very very much.

Sudy Graham – Sudy had a great senior year and career at Wyoming High School. Sudy improved greatly this year. Sudy is a delight to coach. She works hard and is very interested in winning. Sudy improved both offensively and defensively this year. She was much stronger going to the basket and finishing around the rim and she developed a nice outside shot. Defensively she worked hard to box out and rebound. She was good at defending on the perimeter and worked hard on her help defense. She developed into a total player. She was also a great captain. She kept her teammates on task and focused. She was the captain on the floor reminding them what defense we were in and encouraging them to work hard. Sudy is going to be missed next year not just because of her floor presence but because of they type of person she is.
