From Coach Crawford
The Girls HS Lacrosse team hosted the Loveland Tigers on Tuesday night. The JV played well posting many shots and stopping the Loveland offense but in the end Loveland came away with a victory. The Varsity played a tight game with the Tigers, down 5-7 at the end of the first half. But Loveland showed why they are ranked 6th in the State, all divisions, and pulled away from the Cowboys winning 7-13. Goals were scored by Adi Smith (2), Reilly Simmons (2), Olivia Cunningham (1), Claire Crawford (1), and Maggie Hughes (1). Emily Wadds and Claire Mellott platooned Goalie responsibilities and recorded a total of 7 saves behind the defensive support of Grace Schneider, Grace Crawford, Carly Schlager, Emily Wood, Emma Komrska, and Freshman Grace Steiner.
Thanks to Coach Crawford for the report, and
Thanks to Arch Cunningham for the pictures.
