Middletown Christians Can't Catch the Cowboys

As promised, I have some of the stats from the Varsity Boys' Basketball December 29th 84-55 whomping of Middletown Christian.

Besides his 13 rebounds, Mark Akinbi was 9 for 10 (and 5-9 in freethrows) for an awesome 23 points.  Ahmed Frost put in 15 points to compliment his 4 steals.  Will Marty put in 13 points with three of those coming from one of two shots from beyond the three point line.  Besides his 9 rebounds, Ben Kurtz followed right behind with 12 points (also going one for two in three pointers).  Dawson Rogers finished up with 7 points (one for three in three pointers).  Off the Bench, Walker Lewis scored 9 points.  Nolan Prevish and Mason Rogers brought in 2 points each followed by Duke Brunk who scored a point from the free throw line.  As a team, they were 31 for 63 in Field Goals, 3 for 10 in Three Pointers, and 19-31 in Free Throws.  They also nabbed 42 rebounds, split right down the middle between offensive and defensive.

On Friday, January 4th, next up (or should we say down) is Reading, where the boys will finish up their road trip with a 7:30 tip-off.  Let's turn out and support the boys at their last away game before they come home for a week of action against Finneytown and Maderia.
