On Saturday, January 5th, the Boy's Basketball team lost a heartbreaker in Reading. After a 3 point lead at the half, they came up just short 42-44 at the buzzer. Ahmed Frost led the scoring with 17 points. Mark Akinbi came up with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Ben Kurtz had 7 points while Will Marty had 2 points and 2 rebounds, while Dawson Rogers was held scoreless. From the bench, Walker Lewis came up with 4 points, and Mason Rogers didn't have any goals, but he did come up with 6 rebounds and two steals.
The Boys come home on Tuesday, January 8th at 7:30 when they host Finneytown. Let's welcome our Cowboys back home with packed stands cheering them on to victory.
