Dayton Belmont Gets Rung

On Friday, December 28th, the Varsity Boys' Basketball team found themselves on the road again.  This time they were were hosted by Dayton Belmont, where they just barely squeaked by with a 73 to 54 victory.  Will Marty and Mark Akinbi both went 6 for 8 with 18 points.  Ben Kurtz put up 15 and had 16 rebounds (almost half of the teams 38 rebounds).  Ahmed Frost scored 12 points with 7 assists followed close behind by Nolan Prevish who had 8.  Walker Lewis finished up the scoring with 2.  Not to be left out, Ian Toerner and the Rogers trio (Dawson, Hudson, and Mason) all contributed rebounds and or assists.  This score was a foreshadowing of scores to come as they traveled to meet Middletown Christian on Saturday, December 29th.  While there, the Cowboys racked up a devastating 84-55 victory.  We will post more stats if they become available.  There must have been some great highlight moments in that game, and we would love to post more than stats, so send us those stories!
