The WHS boys varsity soccer team defeated a tough Talawanda team 3-2 Thursday night. The game was very physical and hard fought. Two goals were scored by Freshman Daniel Richtand and one goal was scored by Sophomore Nick Kamphaus assisted by Cory Macke.
Freshman Goalkeeper Harrison Glover played an outstanding game making 10 saves.
The boys remain undeafeted at 2-0-1 on the season. They play next at home against Ross Saturday at 3 (JV at 1).
