The Volleyball team defeated Deer Park in three straight yesterday, 25-17, 25-19, and 25-22. Big game by senior Sudy Graham who collected 9 kills and freshman Tatiyana Ali with 7 kills. Junior Taylor Weis did a nice job setting the ball up for the kill. Coach Plitt says, "It wasn't the prettiest win but a win is a win!!"
Unfortunately the team continues to be plagued with illness and injury. Senior Abby Zennie went down in practice with an ankle injury and will be out for 1 to 2 weeks.
Next up: Finneytown at home next Tuesday, September 15 - JV at 5:30, Varsity at 7 PM
