The Wyoming girls soccer team moved its record to 10-0-2 with a 1-0 victory Wednesday night at Finneytown's McNulty Stadium. Michelle Jolson scored the only goal of the game and Alexa Levick was credited with 4 saves.
The defense (led my Nikki McKee) and keepers Alexa Levick and Paige Weinstein have been putting on quite a show so far. Out of our 12 games, nine have been shutouts. We've given up 1 goal twice and 2 goals once. Four goals in 12 games comes out to a goal every third game (by my math). Impressive.
Next up: Varsity/JV double headers - The girls play Deer Park at home next Wednesday at 7 PM. The boys varsity makes up a game against Lebanan immediately prior to that at 5:30 PM (JV will play two at Summit Country Day, girls at 4:30 PM, boys at 6).
