Wyoming girls soccer kept their perfect season going by coming from behind to tie Madeira 1-1 in an intense CHL battle Wednesday night. The Amazons were up 1-0 at halftime, but a well placed corner kick by Midfielder Jane Streeter was finished on the back post by Forward Jenni Marck. The Cowboys battled with the 'Zons until the very end when time ran out. The defense anchored by Keeper Alexa Levick, Nikki McKee, Brooke Smith and Lily Grace did an outstanding job shutting down the attack. Jillian Anderson and Meghan McAllister controlled the middle as did Hailee Schlager and Olivia Magnotta. The Cowboys also saw great play from Bonnie Grace and Michelle Jolson in the attack. The bench equally played a vital role in the teams' success. The Cowboys are now 8-0-2, the best start ever in the history of girls soccer at Wyoming!
Next up: at Finneytown next Wednesday the 23rd at 7 PM (no JV game)
