Cornhole's a sport....right?

Is Cornhole a sport?  Well, you're reading a blog about sports and you're reading about cornhole - you do the math.  (And no, that's not one of those unsolved math problems).

Anyway, apparently, the Wyoming Recreation Commission is having its Annual Corn Hole Tournament.  The City Manager blog entry doesn't say if it's the first annual or the 34th annual.  I don't remember them having it before but I'm getting older so that's not always a good indicator. 

Even if it's not a sport, the elimination rounds are on Friday, October 2nd in the tennis courts lot at 5:30 PM before the football game against Madeira and the finals are at the Civic Center on Friday the 9th before the homecoming parade, which is before the Boosters tailgate, which is before the football game against Deer Park so there's plenty of sports tie-ins.  If you're interested, click on City Manager blog entry above, which I'm too lazy to repeat here.  Oh, what the heck.  City Manager blog entry
