The MS boys lacrosse team beat Seven Hills 8-3, and Springboro 4-3, in games at the Wyoming Rec Center on Thursday night April 18. Grant Mellot and Brooks Brunke both saved over 80% of the shots on goal. For the Seven Hills Game, Cole Engel and Zach Osha led all scorers with 2 goals each, and Alex Thompson, Jared Buttelwerth, Joseph Glisson, and Nick Denson added 1 each. Jake Edmonds and Connor Yauss each contributed 2 assists and 4 ground balls. The Springboro game was tied 2-2 entering the fourth quarter, when Brayden Matlin and Declan Dunehew each scored a goal off assists from each other. Jake Tucker and Cole Engel also each scored. Daniel Shapiro and Cade Barnett led the team in ground balls. The Cowboys next games are against Miamisburg on Tuesday April 23.
