From Maryann Hughes
It was another tough loss for the Wyoming Men's Lacrosse team vs. the Bishop Fenwick Falcons.
It was a close match heading into the 4th quarter, when the Falcons had a 6-4 lead on the Cowboys. The Wyoming defense shut down the all-senior Falcon offense during the 3rd quarter, but then in the final 4 minutes of the game, Fenwick scored 4 quick goals, leaving the Cowboys with a disappointing 10-5 final score.
Leaders on the field:
Both David Moody and Sophomore, Oliver Reinecke, each scored 1G/1A, and Reinecke led the team with 9 loose balls controlled (LBC). Moody and Barzizza both contributed with 7 LBC's. Freshmen Middie, Andrew Duke, had 1G and Freshman attackman, Jack Crider, scored 2G.
Goalie, Frank Barzizza has continued to hold off opponents, with 12 saves vs. the Falcons.
Thanks to Maryann Hughes for the report,
