Cowboys Come Close to Carrying the Day

From Coach Crawford

In a game that resembled boy's lacrosse, the Girls HS lacrosse team came up short as a strong Cincinnati Country Day won over the Cowboys 7 to 10. Although leading early in the game, the Cowboys were down 4 to 6 at the half, and later slipped to 4 to 10 in the second half. But, in the final three minutes of the game showing great toughness and competitive spirit, Wyoming went on a scoring run of three goals.....and just ran out of time. Scoring was lead by Carly Levick with 3 and MJ Fischer, Marta Stewart, Claire Crawford, and Adi Smith each scored 1. CCD improves to 6 wins and 1 loss as the Cowboys enter a week break at 5 wins, 3 losses.

Next scheduled game is Friday, April 26 at Home against yet another Cowboy rival, Mother of Mercy.

Thanks to Coach Crawford for the report,
and thanks to Peter Levick for the great pictures.
