The Girls HS Lacrosse won their season opener against Kings, 12-6. After a close first half (Wyoming leading 4 to 3), the team broke it open with a run of 5 unanswered goals. Emily Wadds recorded 6 saves as the defense shut down Kings scoring opportunities and Carly Levick leading the team with control of 7 ground balls. Adi Smith, Maggie Hughes, and Claire Crawford scored 3 goals each with Carly Levick adding 2 goals and MJ Fischer 1. Assists were lead by Claire Crawford with 2 along with Adi Smith, Carly Levick, MJ Fischer, and Becky Denson each recording 1 assist.
Next up, the team travels to Springboro to Ralph E. Wade Field (off S.R. 741) for a 7:30 game.
We may not have filled the stands, but we do have some serious Die-Hard Super-Fans!
Congratulations, Team on starting the season off right.
