Girls Win Nail-Biter

Skip Koesterman sent us the Softball mid-week in review:

 

On Monday, (April 21st) the Cowboy’s played a tough game (featured in today’s Cincinnati Enquirer) versus Reading. In a close contest, Reading prevailed 2-0.

Today, (April 23rd) the Cowboy’s played New Richmond. New Richmond had a 5-2 lead into the latter parts of the game, however are Cowboy’s continued to fight back and tied the game in the very last inning of regulation (the seventh inning). In the ninth inning, Clara Merton drove home Olivia Munneke with the game winning run and a 6-5 Cowboy victory.

 

The Girls host a strong Finneytown team this afternoon, Wednesday, April 24th at 4:30.
