Cowboys Come Back

The Girls HS Lacrosse team travelled to Springboro and won their second game of the season 10-6. The Cowboys showed great determination and toughness in coming back from a score of 3 to 5 at half-time to dominate the second half by scoring 5 unanswered goals. Freshman goalie Clare Mellott had a solid performance in her opening debut as scoring was lead by Adi Smith with 4 goals and 1 assist. Other scorers included Becky Denson (2G, 1A), Carly Levick (2G), Claire Crawford (1G, 1A), MJ Fischer (1G), and Maggie Hughes (1A). Carly Levick lead the team with the control of 5 groundballs and Freshman Haley Stewart recorded 4 as a strong second half defensive performance was turned in by the defensive corps of Olivia Cunningham, Grace Crawford, Roslyn Rathbone, and Freshman Emily Wood.
