The Girls HS Lacrosse team came up short Saturday against Anderson with final score 8 to 9. Being down at one point in the game 2 to 5, Wyoming scored twice in the waning minutes of the first half to pull within 1 and later went on a scoring run in the second half to take the lead. But in the final minutes of game, last year's State Champions of the Girls Club Division, Anderson, scored in succession to edge out Wyoming. Cowboy scoring was lead by Adi Smith with 3, followed by MJ Fischer with 2, and 1 goal for Carly Levick, Marta Stewart and Haley Stewart. Loose Ball Control leaders at six each were Carly Levick and Grace Schneider.
Next up is a conference game at Seven Hills Monday evening (April 15th 6:30) and then the team returns Home Tuesday (April 16th 7:00) to take on Milford.
