From 7th Grade Girls' Coach Eric Kunkel
Wednesday’s game against Taylor was a big win for the 8th grade team. Kayla Hampton and Lauren Metz led the team in scoring. Superb defense from all teammates made it very difficult for the Taylor team to keep pace with the Cowboys. Highlights included a spectacular steal by Tatyana Palmer and heady defense by Emily Dudek. Crissy Gallick and Isabelle Judge played strong games on both ends of the court. The Emmas, Jacquemin and Postalliam, smothered Taylor’s inside game, with Emma J scoring on a feisty put-back in the paint. The next game for the 8th grade girls will be home against Mariemont on Thursday, December 20.
