Dan Brady Memorial Fund

The coaches and board members of the Wyoming Lacrosse Club have always encouraged community service and concern for others along with teaching lacrosse skills and sportsmanship to each athlete. As the year ends, please consider this opportunity to share with this Wyoming Lacrosse family if you are able:
During the 2012 season, the high school men’s team manager, Sam Brady, a WHS freshman and former middle school lacrosse player lost his father to an unexpected and tragic death. Sam continued to work with the high school team throughout the entire season, faithfully and enthusiastically assisting the coaches from the side lines, at games and practices, in the good weather and the bad, always with a smile and a word of encouragement for the players. Recently, the Wyoming Lacrosse Club was contacted by the Greater Cincinnati Bank and Mortgage Association where Sam’s dad served, to offer the Wyoming Community an opportunity to partner with them in a Memorial fund for Sam, his twin brother Max, and his mom Janice Brady.
Please take a moment to share with a Wyoming family this holiday season.

Dear GCMBA & CABR Members,
Earlier this year we lost a Past President to the GCMBA and a dedicated mortgage professional to our Industry. Many of you knew Dan Brady as I did, as a dedicated and outspoken advocate for our business and the customers Dan served. Dan championed a number of housing initiatives during his career and was very passionate about the organizations he represented and the utilization of FHA financing as a path to homeownership for many families. He was a strong supporter of education programs and spent countless hours offering CE training for the CABR membership.
Our industry has seen change that no one ever imagined over the past four years and that change has impacted us all in very different ways. For Dan, that change became too much to bare and unfortunately we lost an advocate for our industry and an individual that truly helped thousands of families on the road to homeownership. Dan and I had a conversation about the many families he had assisted during his career. A number of those families couldn’t envision the dream of homeownership without the help they received from Dan. Dan cared about his customers and their families.
Dan leaves behind a family that needs our help and support, just like the families that Dan assisted. As we approach the holidays where family seems to be more important than ever during the year, I would ask that you help me in supporting Dan’s wife and twin sons he leaves behind. The GCMBA will be collecting financial donations and would like to present the family with our contribution before the end of the year. No donation is too great or small and any effort would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your help and generosity,
Chris Johnstone
