We got the news here at the Round-Up that Emma Melvin is out for the season. The team's loss is our gain as she will be our regular reporter. At an upcoming game, you will be asked to sign a petition to get her some extra credit in English, maybe a sweet by-the-word deal.

On December 12, the 7th grade girls played a rough game at home against Taylor. They were a tough match for the Cowboys but we came out with the win. Skylar Wolski, Jamaica Hurston, Anna Sponaugle and Sydnie Shepherd played an amazing defense this game. They came into the game strong and came out stronger than ever. They helped the team make their way to victory. Again in this game Lindsay Stewart led all scorers with 10 points. She and Sierra Valentine, who finished with 8 points, were on fire this game. The team as a whole did an amazing job on both offense and defense. The final score ended up to be 24:22 Wyoming. It was a close game but the girls pulled it off with toughness and determination. The next game will be Thursday, December 20, against Mariemont, at the middle school gym.
