On Saturday, December 8th, the  Girls' Varsity Basketball team finally came home after a long, tough road trip.  They faced a Deer Park squad just as thirsty for a win, but did not play the gracious host and denied them a drink from chalice of victory.  Just looking at the few stats I could find, it looks like the game got off to a slow start with the score tied at 5 all after the first quarter.  Our girls' looked unstoppable during the second and third quarter where they put up double digits in each.  Our defense held Deer Park to only 22 points, which is a far cry from the almost 44 they have averaged this season.  Final score 36-22.

The plan of showering Coach Lackey with Gatorade was short-lived after Greg Sites was seen on the sidelines with furrowed brow.

Congratulations Team and Congratulations Coach for the first Wyoming W of 2012!!
