Wyoming boys high school team routed Taylor at home this fine evening (Tuesday, September 8th) . This was an important CHL match for the Cowboys as they attempt to reclaim their CHL title. The game started out with the Cowboys firing on all cylinders. After multiple shot attempts Nathan Gressel opened the scoring with an assist across the box from Jay Klein. Taylor put Wyoming’s defense on their heels on occasion but Wyoming came back with another assist from Jay Klein to the foot of Ivan Meisner and a third goal from Jay Klein fed by Isaiah Hornsby. The second half proved more one sided with the domination of possession by the Cowboys which resulted in four more goals from Zach H, Ivan Meisner, Tristan, and Andrew Derge. Taylor’s goalie played a terrific game but could not hold back the Cowboys as Wyoming held possession to end the game at 7-0. Valiant effort from the boys.
Catch the Cowboys up in the middle of nowhere as they take on Waynesville on Thursday, September 10th. Note the game times have changed.
