Hat tricks by Austin Hughes, Daniel Liesh and Will Irwin propel boys lax over Miami Valley

From our lax stringer:
Once the track meet concluded the Wyoming Boys Lacrosse team were warmed up and ready to play. Miami Valley traveled to Lewis Stadium for the game.
Wyoming began the first period with a quick volley of goals ending the period seven to zero. Over the next three periods Wyoming scored eight more goals; two in the second, three in the third and another three in the fourth period. Miami Valley scored one goal for each of the next three periods. The final score was fifteen Wyoming, three Miami Valley.
Goals for Wyoming came in threes for three players, Austin Hughes #1, Daniel Liesh #5, and Will Irwin #23. Also assisting in putting points on the board for goals were James Edwards #3, Travis Courtney #21, Tyler Hughes #22, Nate Wolf #24, and Harry Meisner #49.
Michael Sagan #27 and Adam Blum #34 shared the net for a total of 8 saves. High loose ground balls controlled tonight was Harrison Wood #40 with seven ground balls. Excellent sportsmanship on both sides of the field tonight. A game of possession, Wyoming won 48 ground balls tonight. Great job done by all.
